MARILYN MANSON Track To Be Featured On New 'Spawn' Videogame
November 9, 2003The MARILYN MANSON track "Use Your Fist, Not Your Mouth", from the shock-rocker's recent Nothing/Interscope album, "The Golden Age of Grotesque", will be featured on the new "Spawn Armageddon" videogame, according to Billboard.com.
"If any artist epitomizes my anti-hero Spawn, it's MARILYN MANSON," says Todd McFarlane, head of McFarlane Enterprises, which is producing the game (due on Nov 26).
Software company Namco Hometek is using one minute of the song spliced with game play and the intro to the game in a demo trailer that is being offered for kiosk and monitor play in such chains as GameStop and FYE.
As previously reported, MARILYN MANSON will be teaming up with alt-rock icons JANE'S ADDICTION this winter for a series of co-headlining dates that kick off right after Christmas.
Only a handful of dates have been scheduled so far, beginning with a Dec. 27 performance in Auburn Hills, MI. Plans also include a New Year's Eve show at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
